Finished Projects

Granny Square

This is my first attempt at a granny square with a circle center ( and my very first project ).  I followed the tutorial from Micky's Mail on YouTube.  Yarn is Red Heart Super Saver in Neon Pink and Grey.

Cluster Stitch Purse

My Cluster stitch purse/handbag.  I started with 7 rounds using only one strand ( the pattern called for double stand ).  I then crocheted 10 rounds up alternating the coloring and ending with 3 half double crochet rounds and 2 more for the straps.  I used Loops and Thread Impeccable solids yarn.  The handle is 30 chains long.
Pattern came from Bobwilson123

Sunburst Washcloth

I wanted to do a small, easy and quick project with some cotton yarn I had.  So I decided to make some dishcloths!  I searched forever to find a pattern that I liked and finally settled on this one.  It is the JustRight and BigTime Dishcloths by Deborah Ellis.  Just a simple single crochet, half double crochet pattern...or so I thought.  Half way through the project I found myself doing a single, double and not single, half double.  The sides on the cloth are now going out just a tad.  Next time I will pay more attention :)

Baby Ugg Boots

I made these cuffed boots and they turned out really cute, but it is much bigger than what the picture shows. I used my G hook, but after I got done with the first one I realized that my G hook is a 4.25, not a 4.00 hook. It is still cute either way, just wish it would have turned out to be the right size.
Was quick and easy to do, made the first one in just a few hours, with breaks in between making it.
I used Loops and Thread yarn in pink and grey.
The pattern is from Repeat Crafter Me and you can find the free pattern here

Crochet Hook Case

This is one of my favorite projects that I have done.  I use it to store my crochet hooks and it works perfectly.
I used lily's sugar and cream cotton yarn in white and in a variegated to make it so it is soft and sturdy.
I am pretty sure I used a G or H hook to make it.
I got the pattern from a youtube video here
Finished June 2014

Chevron Starbucks Coffee Mug Sleeve

I used at 4.25 hook (G) and only did 5 peaks instead of the 6 the pattern says (start with 31 chains to starting chain) It made it fit perfectly. Next time I might try my 4.0 (G) hook to make it a little snug so it wont slip off when it stretches out.
Pattern was tricky at first, I keep losing chains in the starting row, so I was coming up short, so I went up a hook size to an H for the starting chain then went back down to the G hook.
I used Loops and Threads Impeccable Solids yarn and got the free pattern from here as a free ravlery download
