Yarn Haul!!

So, I have come to the realization that I have a serious yarn problem!  My bedroom floor is now covered in yarn, as well as my closet and a duffle bag.  At least they all were on sale when I bought them.

Michaels was having a door buster sale last week and had their Loops and Threads Impeccable on sale for $1.88 a skin! And today they had them 2 for $6 as well as Red Heart Soft.  So I treated myself.  I also got some Lily's Sugar and Cream yarn at Jo-Ann Fabric for $2.36 a skin ( it was the super size ), normally $2.99 plus I got 20% off the entire purchase...SCORE!

Now that I have all this yarn, I MUST get to work on my projects.  I am going to start the baby blanket today ( I have to start over, the one I started got lost in my move into my new house ) Hopefully it goes by fast.  And while I am working on that I need to whip up two owl's for my daughter's first birthday party.  And I need both projects done at the same time! Look's like I am going to be busy :)

WIP Wednesday!

I started working on yet another baby blanket. It is the third time now that I have to start a competly new blanket.  I didn't like the first one and lost the second one in my move.  So, here is the start of a baby chevron blanket in pink and white.  Using Bernat Softee Baby yarn in DK Sport.  Hopefully this will come along pretty fast as the baby is due on May 17th and I would like to have it done BEFORE the baby is here lol.

Hello Again...

Hello!

Cluster Stitch Purse
It has been way to long that I have posted anything on this blog, let alone been able to sit down and crochet anything. So much has happened in the past several months and so much more is still yet to come.  My family and I moved from NY to our hometown in FL back in August, and my daughter turns ONE in 3 weeks and I just haven't been able to really get back to crocheting again. I have started a few projects here and there, never finishing any of them - except for one.  I just finish a cluster stitch purse that I had made in a few days time. It turned out pretty well for my first purse if I say so myself!

I seriously plan on making more time for myself and that means more time for crocheting! I have a baby blanket that needs to be done ( will put photo up shortly) as well of another purse and a few other projects that are sitting half done.

I also would love to join some kind of CAL, maybe something for beginners, although I am past the true beginners stage now, I have picked up on the stitches pretty fast.

Thanks for reading and I am always open to suggestions and feedback!
