I am a mom to a beautiful daughter, Bella. She is my world, my everything and the reason I am still functioning. My journey into crochet all started because of her. I am recently divorced and crocheting is helping keep my mind off of everything I am going through, it is a wonderful destresser. We live in a small town in Central Florida, not far from Disney World and even closer to the beaches. We spend most of our days playing around the house or spending time with her Gammy, Grandpa, Great Grandma and cousin. We have a puppy, named Harley, which she just adores.
I had always wanted to have a girly girl to put bows on and dress up. So, one night I decided to look up headbands on YouTube and ended up finding a lot of videos on crochet. The more I watched the more I wanted to pick up a hook and try it for myself. And that is what I did. I went to the store the very next day and bought my first hook, some hot pink yarn and went home to start my very first...something. It turned out to be a lopsided rectangle. But I was so very proud of myself. Now, I am confident that I can make just about anything I set my mind to.
I now aspire to one day open up my own esty store and/or business and share my love of crocheting with everyone of you out there!
